My name is Colin Johnson and I live in San Francisco, California.
My Buddhist name is Tashi Lundhup.
It was given to me during a villagers cleansing ceremony high in the mountains of Ladakh, India at the end of 2022 by a Lama of the Gelug or "Yellow Hat" school of Tibetan Buddhism.
This is the school that the Dalai Lama is the foremost spiritual leader.

I travel the world in search of deeply authentic, culturally enriching travel experiences that connect me to the spiritual heart of remote communities.
Sometimes I’m lucky to find myself immersed in a culture and place so deeply spiritual that it vibrates. Witnessing how faith is manifest in different places keeps me going back.
